This site is a static portfolio. It does not use cookies for analytics and does not sell personal data.
Privacy on the internet is in a rough place. Too often, our behaviour is tracked, packaged, and sold without clear consent. I don’t agree with that model. This site is a small stand in the other direction: minimise data collection, be explicit about third-party services, and give you control over what loads.
We use Plausible Analytics for privacy-first, cookie-free site metrics. Plausible does not use cookies and is designed to be compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. You can read more on the Plausible website and their data policy.
Comments are provided by Utterances, which embeds GitHub issues and content. Comments do not load by default. They only load if you click “Load comments”. When they load, your browser connects to GitHub and Utterances, which may set cookies and collect standard technical data (such as IP address, browser details, and referrer) as part of delivering that content.
If you choose “Remember my choice”, the preference is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage), not as a cookie.
If you do not want this data shared, simply do not load the comments. You can also reset your preference at any time. For more detail, review GitHub’s privacy policy.
If you contact me by email, I will only use your message to respond to your request.
